Bill Bufkins is one of the Founding Advisors of Blue Jean Financial who first came into contact with Classical Conversations in 2021. He and his wife had decided to homeschool after New York State took away religious exemptions for vaccines and began their homeschool adventure in Fall of 2019. After sponsoring several Practicums he came home and told his wife Mary, “Honey, I think you should really check this out!” Thoroughly impressed with CC she dove in and acted as an Essentials tutor her first year while honoring her commitment to another Co-op and teaching there as well. After that year it has been CC or bust and she has tutored Foundations and been a Challenge B Director and is serving as a Challenge 1 Director this year (’25-26).

Blue Jean Financial is all about bringing best interest advice to everyday Americans. Bill’s background happens to be in Higher Education Financing and he loves pulling back the curtain for families on the college admissions and financial aid process to help them choose schools that are great academic fits for their kids and good financial fits for the family. He has served as an Elder and Assistant Pastor and two of the other advisors on the team also serve, one as a Baptist Pastor and another as an Orthodox Priest. Christ is the fabric of this company and we want to serve you with the strength He gives us.

We help families with every type of financial planning whether they are just getting started with their first job out of High School, in the middle of life, about to retire, or already retired.
